A: Hahah its soo great!! Funny and also touchy somehow! Dave is firstly- a brilliant drummmer( one of the best in the world if i may say) Also a great guitarist He is a great actor- the videos he has done with tenacious d. And in Foo fighters aswell like Everlong and Learn to fly. He is soo great at acting.. he should consider it an career option. Also he is great at presenting: if you saw the MTV Europe awards. He was soo funny!! Hah he cuddles with the boys from MCR(Frank was squeezing his nipples XD) He was obviously better than Snoop Dogg on presenting. Hes soo talented!! The vids great. and so is the song. Probabaly the best of the new album! :D

A: It was directed by Michel Gondry, if you see the collected works DVD he does talk a bit about the making of the video. It's one of my favourites.

Me and my fella love the Foo's and we want to throw a party at home with some mates and play foo fighters music all night. Have you got any ideas for costumes, decoration and food?

A: That sounds like fun. :] I'd put their posters up everywhere. And costume's, probably dress like the Foo Fighters. And play guitar hero, pshht that was obvious. Maybe play like 'Pin the drum sticks on the drummer' instead of pin the tail on the donkey. Use a Taylor Hawkins poster and some Velcro's sticks. This would probably be funner while intoxicated.

so, here i was doing my homwork and i was listening to one of the best bands ever - the foo fighters. anyone who doesn't agree is a gay. anyway, i was more specifically listening to their lyrics and trying to correlate all of their songs as to have 1 ultimate meaning. i started with best of you, and i found this the easiest to figure - abuse. you actually think all of the crying lonely little children in the vid are there for no reason. well here it is. then on comes big me - i talked about it - a little convenient i thought, maybe its to do with the person want to alk about abuse but cant muster up the courage, or they have but no one believes them. then it was my hero. this could be the person that believes the abused, or the one that helps them with their situation. then monkey wrench. a commonly known tool - maybe it was describing the abused as a tool in a 'game'. i wanna know what you guys think, if offended then i am sorry, its just a theory. also what you think FOO means?

A: Foo fighters are named after a phenomenon that occurred to the American pilots during one of the world wars. Oh, and stop looking for meanings, it makes things boring and sometimes intolerable. No offense. Oh, and I love the Foo's.

What was up with getting the picture at the end?

A: The one thing that's weird is that the guy runs right into a burning house. It couldn't be a coincidence that he just happened to run and help the family out. I think that the guy knew the family, and had an intention of going to their house besides rescuing them. My guess is that the guy was an ex of the mother, and supposedly, he tries to get back with her, but she doesn't want to. When he rescues the baby and the dog, she mouths, "I love you", and then he gets the picture. The picture looks like a younger image of the mother, and he looks at it for a while before returning to her and getting a group hug. The moment with him and the picture, I think, means that he's imagining the days where he was her hero for love. When rescuing other things that she loved, he might have been thinking about trying to attempt more as a hero.

Which do u prefer Foo Fighters older music or their newer music? What is your favorite song by them?

A: The Foo Fighters are one of the only good bands left in music today. Most bands now days are made from hollywood and don't have the quality that the Foo Fighters put into their music. Dave Grohl is one of the few people who could be the drummer for Nirvana, then go create his own band the Foo Fighers and be the lead volcalist and guitarist. He also played drums for the Queens of StoneAge. Taylor Hawkins is one the best drummers today and Nate and Chris do there thing. People need to listen to music beyond what radio stations feed to you and listen to the entire CD. Over the bands career, they have won 3 Grammy Awards for Best Rock Albumn and all six have been nominated. Sounds pretty consistant to me. Most recently won a Grammy for Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, so it is hard to say old stuff is better than the new stuff. Old songs like Everlong, Learn to Fly, Monkey Wrench, My Hero, Baker Street, Big Me, along with others were all wrote in the 90's and songs like All My Life, Times Like These, Best Of You, The Pretender, Let It Die, Long Road to Ruin and more were all wrote in the 2000 years. Those are the more notable songs but songs like, Friend of a Friend(wrote about Kurt Cobain), In Your Honor, No Way Back, Free Me, End Over End, the 2nd cd which is aucostic in the In Your Honor Albumn(tribute to Kurt Cobain) Come Alive, Erase/Replace, and more are all songs that are better than so called "good rock bands" Im not saying Foo Fighters are the only band in the world and everyone else sucks. But people get too caught up in what hollywood and the radio want you to like, that you dont listen to music for the actual meaning of songs and not just catchy songs. If you ever get a chance to see them live, you will totally have your persective on this band changed, or pick up the alubmn Skin and Bones, a live alubmn recorded. Dave Grohl should get more credit for putting in the hard work to keep this band together for the last 13 years because most bands only last for as long as their one hit song lasts. To answer the question, The old stuff and new stuff shouldnt be compared because the band was going through different experiences in their lives and that reflects the material they produce. My favorite songs would be best of you and All my life. The Foo Fighters will continue to rock and should be the standard for what other bands want to become.
