A: heh.. it's all about the drugs. The perfect high (which doesn't exist). Getting what you want and realizing it's not what you were looking for.. lol .. A rock, not a roll .. smoke through the trees.. What do you expect? They were stoned when they wrote it. It was the 70s, man. From the Wiki: Plant's own explanation of the lyrics was that it "was some cynical aside about a woman getting everything she wanted all the time without giving back any thought or consideration. The first line begins with that cynical sweep of the hand ... and it softened up after that. I think it was the Moroccan dope! A: It is almost imposible to explain Robert's lyrics. They are just whatever was going on in his mind at the time... But part of that song is to do with greed, so it may be implying that our darker side {the shadow} is allowed to take over from our good side {the soul}.

A: without a doubt. i like alot of different kinds of music but if i had to pick my most favorite band of all time, it would be Zeppelin because they have a different song for every mood im in, every genre i want to listen to, every day pretty much! many bands were inspired by Led Zeppelin and bow to their infinite awesomeness.
