Q: Led Zeppelin?
Im tryin to figure out what newer genre of music Led Zeppelin would be in if they were still around today? Sort of soft rock with a tad of Hip-hop? Im not sure- What do you think??

Q: Did Led Zeppelin rip off their music?
A friend made me listen to a thing on Howard Stern about Led Zeppelin. I guess that people were saying that Led Zeppelin ripped their music off of old folk songs. I listened to the bit and the old music they compared Led Zeppelin to was definitely the same. So my question is Is what I heard true? Did Led Zeppelin really rip off all their music and claim it to be theirs? If it is true, why has any more attention been brought to this?

A: Only around 5 or 6 old blues standards. No big deal. They changed the songs around anyway. And it's hard to say if they stole them or were influenced by them. John Lennon was sued by Chuck Berry for stealing parts of his songs too.

Q: Without Led Zeppelin, how would music be different?
I've always wondered, like what if John Bonham would have died before they recorded their first album? What if they never met eachother? How would all of music be different? ps. Would Metallica exist without Zeppelin? frickin jeff f: yah but who influenced black sabbath? obviously zeppelin cuz led zep showed the world to make up their own sound. so theres the core zep!

A: i think music would just be totally different, Zep showed the world that you could be creative and different and still make it big. they didnt care about what other bands cared they did their own thing because they liked it. they didn't let people influence them, they influenced people. Yes there are plenty of hard rock bands from that era but they could never have amounted to what Zeppelin did. Zep changed music for good and i dont think any other band can be as influental as them. oh, and to answer your question i think there would be a Metallica but i dont think they would have become as nearly as popular as they have without Zeppelin.

Q: Who had more influence on popular music over the years, Led Zeppelin or the Jonas Brothers?
Hard to know... But such legends in their own ways. They have both influenced so many new bands and both will go down in history as true British/American poets.

Q: I listen to Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Recently, What recent music do you suggest?
( I also hear A perfect circle, The Who, Nirvana, Oasis). I am trying to find the new age rock music I would relate to. (2000 owards)

A: yeah, these are greats, all classic, new music sucks and doesnt even come close to comparing with these greats... i only listen to classic rock! like i tell my friends, "all of the musicians i listen to are dead or disbanded"

Q: Why don't online music stores have Led Zeppelin and others?
All online stores I have been on don't have some great, older bands such as Led Zeppelin and AC/DC (there are many more) and I was wondering if anyone knew why. Thanks for ant input!

A: Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones are not going to give away the rights to iTunes and with good reason. Stairway to Heaven never released a single. Led Zeppelin IV has sold over four million copies in the US alone. Garth Brooks, The Beatles and AC/DC do not wish to give away the rights the music to Online stores. Metallica and AC/DC may eventually get on the iTunes and others. However will we see Led Zep or Garth Brooks? Probably not.

I believe that they are not one of the best bands of all time but the best band of all time! Q: Led Zeppelin Kashmir sheet music?
I'm looking for something to play in concert band at school because the music we play is kind of dull (we're playing an Asia song) and I was wondering if anyone's ever heard of Kashmir music for concert band or any Zeppelin songs for that matter. If you have, hook me up with where to get that.

A: I have heard an orchestral version of Kashmir by a band called The Dixie Dreggs. I'm sure you can find sheet music through google. I don't remember any of the sites in particular but they aren't too hard to find.

A: Come on you have to realize Jimmy Page probably is not in his right mind, the drugs ate half his brain away and perhaps some of his money too (that is why he is selling his music). Its a pity. I would go crazy if I was a rocker, kind of like to keep my music precious and sacred for my fans.

A: Yes, I see what you mean. Led Zeppelin never made a bad song! Even The Beatles made some bad songs, but Led Zeppelin never did......I knew they were gods! I knew it! Jimmy Page all the way!
