Q: Metallica song?
There's this Metallica song i heard on the radio on few months ago... I'm a huge Metallica fan and i've heard most of their songs many times, but i never heard this song before. it was a nicer song (not really the hardcore metallica) and i don't remember ANY of the lyrics. I just knew it was James Hetfield's voice. I know its none of their big songs (nothing else matters, unforgiven I, II, etc.) just try to give me a broader search to go with because i don't even know where to start Thank you in advance :D

A: try listening to songs from load or reload, its most likely on those albums unless the drums sounded like tin cans, then its from st.anger

Q: Can you help me with this Metallica song?
I can't think of the name of the song by Metallica, or even what album it's from, but the chorus has the line "Die MFer Die" that repeats over and over. Can someone help me with the song name and album? I've bewen told that this was also a Dope song. Is it possible that Metallica plays this at their live shows? I just saw them earlier in the month and I know they played this song but I haven't found it on a set list from that night.

A: I don't think any studio song does that...but you may be thinking of Creeping Death off Ride the Lightning. During the middle part they just repeat " Die Die Die...." But, I know live, they sometimes add in Die MFer Die studio version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXWq3f01e2U Live version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywEmIHFUgDI ****Jimmy Jazz: Isn't the rap song you are thinking of Geto Boys: Still (Both have Scarface in them)? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMoTxULhWMM

Q: I need the notes to a Metallica song?
I am getting a tattoo of the notes that correspond to the Metallica song "Nothing Else Matters" and I need the notes that are played while the lyrics are "forever trust in who we are." Perferably piano notes as they will be drawn out like musical scores. If you could send me a scan of that part of the song or type out the notes that would be great. For those with the sheet music and that scan it to my yahoo email....10 EASY POINT Email: ttime911@yahoo.com Cheers Guys!

Q: What is the easiest Metallica song to play on bass guitar?
I would consider myself an intermediate bass guitar player. What songs are suitable for me? P.S. are there any songs that have bass that stand out more that would be suitable? thanks in advance @Jzillza: Metallica's bass songs are actually quite difficult, they may sound easy as they have fantastic bass players. You try playing the intro for For Whom The Bell Tolls or Anaesthesia (pulling teeth).

A: enter sandman

Q: What is the best Metallica song, in your opinion?
Mine is Fade to Black. Yours?

A: Mine too actually. I like One too. I even like The Day that Never Comes, its on their new album, Death Magnetic. You check it out, if u haven't yet.

Q: In A metallica song called (wherever i may roam)what was an instrument playing at the very start of the song ?
the song starts with a weird instrument that sounds like some indian or psychadelic thingy .. i want that kinda music .. what is it called and what is that particular instrument involved !!

A: It's called a Sitar, it's an Indian folk instrument. Both James and Kirk know how to play it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sitar At the S&M shows, Kirk played it onstage, at other live shows they just play a recording of it. Person below me, this is for you: The song starts with an electric sitar playing the main riff of the song, before the drums and electric guitars come in. The riff of the song is similar to the riff of "Electric Funeral" by Black Sabbath. In addition to the use of a sitar, the loud "crack" heard at 0:30 in the song (and then repeatedly throughout the intro) is bassist Jason Newsted playing a 12-string electric bass, as mentioned by the bassist on the Classic Albums: Metallica - The Black Album DVD.

Q: what metallica song should i learn next on guitar?
something preferably heavy and goes around 4-5 minutes would be good.

A: My favorite is Hero of the Day, I say go for that one.
